“The drug interactions tool is indispensable”
I have been a loyal PEPID user since 2001. Although I have used other medical reference tools I always come back to PEPID.
I have been able to find information in PEPID that I could not find in other platforms. The information is provided in a concise, well organized format, that lets me get to the essentials that I need to take care of my patients without tool getting in my way.
Recently, one of the providers that I supervise, came to me with a question regarding a patient with symptoms that suggested Reiter’s syndrome. It has been more than a decade since I have diagnosed that condition so I opened PEPID to quickly get the information on nature of the condition, presenting symptoms, differential diagnosis, appropriate workup and disposition.
I also appreciate the variety of ways I am able to benefit from PEPID every day. I use the drug interactions tool regularly as well as the differential diagnosis generator. The drug interactions tool is indispensable. Within a disease monograph I can linked to evidenced based information for many diagnoses.
PEPID has been by my side for almost 20 years and I have come to depend on it more than any other tool in my bag. Thank you for being there consistently for all these years in a time when many medical reference tools quietly disappear or morph into something better designed to be an advertising platform and many thanks to the team that keeps this indispensable reference always up-to-date. I will continue to be a loyal PEPID user as long as I practice medicine, and probably beyond that.
